Bradenton, Florida, (February 11, 2013) — Full Belly Meats, a local producer of gourmet stuffed burgers, has opened a restaurant in Bradenton under the name of Full Belly Stuffed Burgers. The family-run business has specialized in providing unique artisan-style hamburgers that were originally only available at local events or for purchase by customers for cooking at home. “Our customer base has grown dramatically,” said Matt Holt, owner. “It made sense to open a restaurant where patrons can enjoy our gourmet burgers any time they want.”
Full Belly Stuffed Burgers has also teamed up with another popular local food vendor, O’Macalicious, to offer their famous mac n’ cheese recipes at the restaurant. In addition to gourmet burgers such as the Cheddar Bacon Burger, the Matty Matt (stuffed with maple-cured bacon and natural peanut butter), the Bleu Cheese and Bacon Burger and the Jalapeno Popper Burger, customers can enjoy unique side dishes like O’Shrooms Mac, Bacon and Bleu Cheese Mac and “The Works” (mac n’ cheese, tater tots, bleu cheese and bacon).
Each Full Belly Stuffed Burger served at the restaurant starts with a large 100% Black Angus beef patty. Then the burgers are stuffed with ingredients like sun dried tomatoes, bacon, peppers and various types of cheeses. There are currently five varieties of stuffed burgers and four unstuffed burgers to choose from, including a seasoned turkey burger. Other menu items include salads, soups and “Belly Teasers” such as Scotch eggs, sweet potato tots, fried green tomatoes and wings. The restaurant also serves a variety of soft drinks, wine and over 20 types of beer
Full Belly Stuffed Burgers is open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is located at 8742 State Road 70, just east of I-75.
